Black pepper has been in use for a very long time. It is often used to improve digestion and to increase appetite. It is also an excellent spice to relieve stomach and intestinal gas problems. Black pepper stimulates the taste buds, which in turn increases the secretion of acid in the stomach that improves digestion.
