Facilities
The department is fully equipped as per the norms of dental Council of India for BDS & MDS courses.
It is fully computerized with latest softwares which are used for patients’ records, diagnosis & treatment planning.
Various treatment modalities like Begg techniques, PEA (straight wire) Tip edge technique, Dentofacial Orthodontics & treatment by myofunctional appliances are routinely carried out in the department.

- Treatment of facial disproportion requiring Orthodontic surgeries and distraction osteogenesis
- Assessment of TMJ & management of TMJ dysfunction
- Recent advances in fixed mechanotherapy including lingual orthodontics, aesthetic brackets, self ligating brackets & special techniques requiring mini implants
