Overview

The department of OBG is fully functioning unit with adequate staff. The OPD is situated in the Ground Floor; it has 4 community rooms for doctors with examination cots for antenatal and Gynec patients. In addition there is a separate Gyne examination room. A well equipped minor OT is attached to the Outpatient Department where minor procedures like D&C, biopsies etc. are done.

A seminar room and a department library is also attached to the OPD units

There is a well equipped Labor room with 3 delivery cots in the clean labor room and one cot in the Septic delivery room. Two Major OT Theaters are attached to the Labor room complex for any emergency surgery (e.g. Caesarean section)

There are 90 beds in the OBG ward for Antenatal and Gynec patients.

 All major surgeries like hysterectomy, Caesarean section, etc. are being done routinely. Laproscopy, Colposcopy and Hysteroscopy are other facilities available.

The department functions 24 hours on all days- OPD’s are between 9am to 4.00 pm Monday- Friday. Saturday and Sundays OPD is open between 9.am to 1.00pm

A qualified Doctor is on duty 24 hours of the day.

  5. There is a oncology department to deal with cancer patients, it is well staffed with Medical oncologist, surgical oncologist and Radio therapy unit with state of the art equipments.

Facilities
Apart from the above services we have a high end NICU, where we get a lot premature babies and babies with other problems from outside. Obstetric ICU will be available, giving dedicated service.
