Research was done by Dr. Lingaraj Jayalakshmi on

• Stem cells in the field of regenerative Medicine CMJ Vol.12, No.10, Jan 2007, pages 37- 40
• Occurrence of Anemia in males with type II diabetics mellitus IJPP 2005; 49:5 (Supplement)
• Effect of age on occurrence of natural Autoantibodies in normal south Indian population IJPP Vol.48, No.5, 2004

In Addition to these, research has also been done in the following areas

• Effect of various types of Anemia on the levels of Haemoglobin A1C (Glycosylated Hb) in relation to Diabetic and Non Diabetic patients.
• A correlative study between level of auto-antibodies in different phases of pregnancy and its relation to outcome of pregnancy. 

Our faculty is undertaking seven research projects which are funded by Srinivasa Trust that runs Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre.
