Overview
The Pharmacology Department teaches students Pharmacology via practicals and theory classes. The department has excellent facilities and infrastructure as a result of which the students get excellent results in the University Examinations every year. The students have the opportunity of a good amount of interaction with the faculty which helps them understand their subjects better.
Students practically learn the subject of Pharmacology by doing tests on frogs, rabbits, mice, rats and guinea pigs. They study the effects of various groups of drugs by testing them on these animals. As a part of the syllabus, students are also taught graph readings and prescription writing. Clinical problems are discussed actively with students.
