Eligibility
1. Passed the two year Pre-University examination or equivalent as recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, with science subjects, Viz, Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English.
2. Obtained at least forty-five percent of the total marks in science subjects and English of the qualifying examination. If belonging to a scheduled or a scheduled tribe, should have obtained not less than forty percent of the total marks in science subjects and English of the qualifying examination.
3. Students of Vocational Courses: 10+2 vocational course of State Government of Kerala with 5 subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in addition to vocational subjects conducted is considered equivalent to +2 Examination/Karnataka Pre-University course form the academic year 2005-06 and onwards.
4. Marks obtained by the candidate in English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology to be considered for assessing the eligibility as per the ordinances governing Basic B.Sc Nursing course of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences vide Notification No: RGUHS/SEF/EC.B.Sc Nsg/191/2005-06 dated 18.05.2006.
5. Completes 17 yrs. of age at the time of admission.

Eligibility:
1. (a) Pass in PUC/PDC (10 + 2) with 35% aggregate marks preferably Science from recognized PU Board.
(b) Vacant seats can be filled with Arts & Commerce PUC/PDC/10+2 with 35% aggregate marks.
2. Students shall be medically fit.
3. Admission of students shall be once in an academic year.
4. Minimum age 17 years, Maximum age 35 years.
Programme Duration:
Three Years & Six Months covering intensive theory classes, attending towards for observation and supervised practice.

Regulation
(As per regulations and syllabus prescribed by Indian Nursing Council, new Delhi- 2001 Revision)
Title of the Course:
The course of study shall be called Post Basic B. S.C in Nursing or B.Sc. nursing (Post Basic)
Eligibility
A candidate seeking admission must:
1. Hold a diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM)
2. Be a registered nurse
3. Have a minimum of 2 years experience n a hospital or community health nursing.
4. Have passed pre university examination in arts science/commerce conducted by department of Pre University Education, Karnataka State or its equivalent recognized by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
5. Have working knowledge of English
6. Be medically fit
7. Have good personnel and professional record.
Age
No candidate who is above 48 years of age on 31st December of the of admission shall be eligible.
Duration of Study
The course of study shall be for two academic years from the date of commencement of term notified by the university.
Medium of Instruction
English shall be the medium or the course as well as for the examination.

Eligibility:
1. Passed in BSc Nursing (Basic) or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing or Post Certificate BSc Nursing of Rajiv Gandhi university of Health Sciences, Bangalore or any other University accepted as equivalent by Rajiv Gandhi university of Health Sciences, Bangalore and must have obtained a minimum of not less than 55% aggregate marks. In respect of candidates belonging to SC and ST, the aggregate marks obtained be not less than 50% instead of 55% as above.
2. Minimum of one year of experience after obtaining B.Sc. Nursing (Basic) or minimum of one year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree or Post Certificate B.Sc. Nursing, in a hospital or in Nursing Educational Institution which is recognized by Indian Nursing Council.
3. Registered in any State Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife.
4. Candidate shall be medically fit.
5. Candidates should produce Eligibility Certificate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka.
For General Category, it is 48 years and for SC/ST candidates, it is 50 years at the time of admission.
Program Duration:
Two academic years from the date of commencement of the program. Terms and vacations shall be as notified by the university from time to time.
