Principal's Message
Vydehi institute of Biotech Sciences is one of the prestigious institutions founded by Srinivasa Trust and its main objective is to provide state-of-the-art infrastructure, relevant knowledge, curriculum combined with academic skills imparted to students pursuing various applied sciences by most qualified and proven academicians. The institute has vibrant undergraduate and post graduate programme in Biotechnology. The institute also offers short duration refresher courses to facilitate updating the knowledge to those presently serving in various Biotech related activities.
The campus is also housed with an excellent and fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities of Medical College and Hospital administered by Vydehi Institute of Medical sciences. The presence of this institution in this 65 acres location with eco-friendly ambience and environment is an added advantage to the students of Biotech for conducting the required research and clinical trials.
Vydehi Institute of Biotech Sciences and also Institute of Medical sciences have signed an international co-operative Agreement with University of Georgia, Athens, USA and this arrangement would facilitate these institutions to draw diverse Collaborative educational and research linkages in an effort to contribute towards more meaningful programmes through student-staff exchanges and widening the knowledge base.
